Moral Reconation Therapy (MRT) is a cognitive-behavioral program used to help individuals, particularly those in the criminal justice system with substance use disorders, improve their moral reasoning and make more responsible choices. It's a structured, workbook-based program that uses group exercises and homework assignments to address substance abuse, criminal thinking, and related issues. MRT aims to change thought processes and decision-making, ultimately reducing recidivism and promoting positive behavioral changes.
